The APX 4000XH Portable 2-way Radio combines a compact size with ruggedness. It reduces background noise so you can hear clearly over loud equipment, engines and drills.  The APX 4000XH is equipped with the APX Extreme Audio Profile to improve voice clarity with the latest AMBE digital voice vocoder.

Durable to withstand harsh environments, dust, wind, and humidity. It provides a skeleton design that helps protect the core from shock/impact and submersion, a bright orange HAZLOC safe standard housing for easy identification, T-shape for better grip control, and 2-knob controls for easy channel switching & volume control while wearing gloves.  

The APX 4000XH is rated with the highest hazardous certification in the APX series. (Delta T IP standard, intrinsically safe, submersible - CSA -157, IECEx and tested to the US military standard MIL-STD Rated G).
