Motorola RMN5049 Rugged Noise Cancelling Temple Transducer for the Astro Digital 2-way portable radios.  I.S. (FM intrinsic safety standard).

Temple transducers ulitize a bone conduction receive method by converting audio into sound vibrations which are transmitted to the inner ear.  The receiver rests on the temples and transmits the vibrations via the surrounding tissue and bone so the user can receive audio without covering the ear.   

Includes heavy duty in-line large push-to-talk (PTT) button, dual muff, and over the head headband. The head band is fully adjustable for different head sizes, and can be worn with helmets, hardhats and other head gear.  The water resistant boom mic is useful in rainy weather conditions.  The PTT comes with a secure removable cap to eliminate accidental activation during critical operations.
